There is great confusion between spirituality and religion. Religion binds; you become a slave to an ideal without a goal. Spirituality frees you from these dogmas and shows you that both the path and the goal are yourself. The evolution of the mind does not involve adherence to a socio-political or patriotic, religious, or cultural trend of any kind.
Why see this life and the next, if one is derived from the previous? ... Speak of the longing, of a soul that cries for another. Remembering that one is going to die is the best way to avoid thinking there's something to lose. Man is already helpless. There's no reason not to follow the advice of the heart.
If you don't understand that life is there to challenge you at every moment, you don't understand what it's like to live. If you don't challenge your life yourself, someone else will challenge you.
The void is an infinity that surrounds us: we come from there and there we shall return. The void is absurd and certainty; it cannot be conceived, and yet it is so. The darkness we know was bestowed upon us as grace. In its brevity, it is where the importance of our life lies.
There are two ways to dispel the darkness. The first is... dispel it with the light... the other is to absorb it in its entirety. Man is free to evade reality, he is free to defocus his mind and stumble blindly on any path he chooses, but he is not free to avoid the abyss he refuses to see.
Selling your soul is the easiest thing in the world. That's what most people do with every passing hour of their lives. If I asked you to save your soul, would you understand why it's much more difficult?
There's no better luggage to carry over than sanity and a clear mind. In distant lands, it is more useful than gold and brings the poor out of the straits. Build your life and your work in such a way; that the words and thoughts of others will never overshadow the brightness of your own construction and ascension.
Death is merciful, for in theory there should be no return; but for him who returns from the deepest chambers of night, astray and conscious, there can be no peace. Your highest level of ignorance is when you reject something you know nothing about.
You can't walk the path before the path becomes one with you. There's a time when we get to decide, if we close the chest and leave the heart, or if we open our souls and forget the reason...We can turn stone but also feather, and even though I know I can fall... I will always prefer to fly...
